Kartik Aaryan has credited the failure of Love Aaj Kal 2 for giving him the courage to experiment with his career by picking up roles he has never done before.

Speaking about his character in Love Aaj Kal 2,  Kartik talked about how filmmakers started seeing him in a “different” light after the film flopped. 

“After playing two roles in the film, filmmakers started seeing me in that light,” the actor said.

While the film failed to do well at the box office, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star believes that it was successful in bringing out his serious side as an actor. 

On the work front, Kartik is working for Hansal Mehta’s next film,  and will also be seen in the upcoming film Shehzada.
