Cannes Film Festival Jury Award winner, Pakistani film Joyland is all set to hit cinema screens on November 24, 2022.

The censor boards of the federal and provincial governments have granted Joyland, which is being released on the Distribution Club platform, a release certificate.

World-famous Pakistani film Joyland, which won the Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival of France ,it will be shown on November 24 at theaters all around the nation, including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Joyland received appreciation from filmmakers and reviewers worldwide, and as a result, Joyland also won the best film prize at the Indian Film Festival of Australia.

Joyland, a film directed by Saim Sadiq, is based on a made-up narrative that thoughtfully portrays transgender people's daily experiences. Ali Junejo, Rasti Farooq, Alina Khan, and Sarwat Gilani are among the cast members of Joyland.

Although film makers announced that Joyland teaser and trailer would be released in the coming days.

The Censor Boards of Federation, Punjab, and Sindh have granted certifications for the screening of Joyland in theaters across the nation with a few changes, and the final preparations are currently being made for the film's distribution, according to Executive Director of Distribution Club Sheikh Abid Rasheed.
